Clients facing long-term placement of relatives with dementia need to find facilities with dementia care capability.  The Alabama Nursing Home Association offers a Facility Locator to assist in that effort.   Used with the Medicare.gov Nursing Home Compare tool, caregivers can find a dementia care facility and see how it performs and is rated.
